The story of our players: Jared Lum

Jared Lum is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Hong Kong Premier League club Eastern.

In 2010, Jared joined Marconi Stallions in Australia, where he was earmarked as one of the club’s most promising players, after graduating from the Australian Institute of Sport. In 2016, he signed for Hong Kong Premier League club Kitchee.

In June 2020, Jared decided to look for a new challenge and leave Kitchee after 4.5 years to R&F another HKPL club. However, due to administration issue, R&F decided to withdraw from HKPL and Jared joined Eastern in November 2020.

In March 2020, Jared said in an interview that one of his goals was to represent Hong Kong. Jared’s paternal grandmother is from Hong Kong but moved to Fiji at the age of 10.
