Wong Wai is a Hong Kong professional footballer who currently plays for Hong Kong Premier League new club HK U23 on loan. He started his professional career when he joined Sham Shui Po in the third division back in 2008. In his second season, he scored 12 goals for the club. He helped the club to promote to the first division from his three seasons with the team. He then went on to play for Metro, Pegasus, Tai Po and Eastern.

Wong Wai has made over 160 appearances in Hong Kong and scored over 46 goals. Wai is currently a member of the Hong Kong national team.

Wai has won multiple awards including the Premier League title with Tai Po back in 2018-2019. The Sampling Cup, FA Cup and Senior Shield. He is one of the best players that Hong Kong has ever produced.
