UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup

The 2021 Tissot UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup Hong Kong, China was the first international sports event held in Hong Kong this year during the pandemic. The event was held on the 13th- 16th of May 2021 at the Hong Kong Velodrome in Tseung Kwan O.

Hong Kong has produced some of the most successful and eye-catching cyclists in the world including the likes of Sarah Lee, Jessica Lee, Lee Hoi-Yan and Law Tsz-Chun. Despite COVID-19, Hong Kong has successfully hosted the Nations Cup and the ‘live bubble’ that they created is a very good model for Tokyo Olympics.

Hong Kong’s Sarah Lee has won gold in the final of the women’s sprint event, beating Japan’s Yuka Kobayashi in preparation for the delayed Olympic Games in Tokyo in July.
